“Started” is weeks started out of weeks rostered. A player who moved between teams is counted once, with his total across all of them and every owner listed — the subject here is the player the draft missed, not any one manager’s share of him. Weeks on IR are excluded because those points could not legally have been used.
No unexplained numbersHow the Undrafted XI is built
A player counts as undrafted when no pick in the draft resolves to him. Draft picks and roster rows spell player ids differently, so they are matched through the league’s canonical player index rather than by name.
Bench points count here. The waiver page and the draft page both count started points only, because they measure what a manager banked. This measures what a player produced while owned, so leaving a find on the bench does not erase him — it just means his owner did not notice in time.
The lineup is chosen by the same optimizer that builds every other lineup on this site, so it can never disagree about what is legal. Slots nobody can fill are shown empty rather than dropped: right now every slot fills.
Free agents nobody has ever rostered are not here. The site only knows about players who appeared on somebody’s roster, and inventing a pool it cannot see would be a guess.
